2019 has seen an abundance of deliberate attacks and mass casualty incidents that show no signs of abating.
Over the past three years TyTek has educated, equipped and empowered bystanders (also known as zero responders) to save lives in these situations, particularly in a lockdown situation where first responders are unable to treat trauma victims until the scene has been secured.
Our award-winning equipment is as relevant as a fire extinguisher or an AED and emergency and military medicine experts recommend that public venues install bleeding control kit to treat at least 20 victims.
Allied to this essential equipment, an award-winning counter terrorism training course has been made available to the public for the first time and police want people to get involved. The ACT Awareness eLearning package was previously only available to staff working in crowded places, however, Counter Terrorism officers and Security experts have developed the training course for anyone who wants to help their communities in this next level of first aid training
What is the ACT Awareness Course?
The online course educates participants on what to do in the event of a mass casualty incident. Each stage has been developed by industry experts, the first learning module is ‘Introduction to Terrorism’ - This will help the learner gain an understanding of the meaning behind ‘terrorism’ and how to spot signs of suspicious behavior.
Unfortunately, the national threat in the UK still remains as ‘Substantial’ – Meaning an attack is likely – so giving everyone the chance to be extra eyes and ears for police and security teams could help to keep communities safe.

How can TyTeK Medical help?
TyTek Medical manufacture compact, pre-hospital emergency medical supplies for trauma care. Our proven emergency medical products were engineered for military medics to provide emergency first aid, and are in use all over the world.
Between 2007-2016 there were 112,342 terror attacks resulting in 524,229 casualties, In the time it takes for the Emergency Services to arrive at a scene, the trauma victim may die of blood loss - We have developed emergency supplies that the public can use during the Platinum 10 Minutes that have been highlighted in recent medical research as the key time in which you can save lives.
Our Bleed Control Stations can be conveniently wall mounted in places such as busy shopping malls, schools, transport hubs and hotels. The kits are perforated to ensure that they can be detached, opened quickly and easily, equipping and empowering you to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
Our Bleed Control equipment has been engineered for the military, but with civilians receiving military style injuries is now available for use in the public domain for any trauma care situation you encounter.
