TyTek Medical are exhibiting at SOMSA 2022!

This week is an exciting one for TyTek, as we are attending this year’s SOMSA event from the 2nd to the 6th May at the Raleigh Convention Centre, NC. “SOMA is the only medical association in the world that brings together the unique blend of pre-hospital, tactical, wilderness, austere, disaster and deployed medicine.” - SOMA site

So why should you consider attending?

It gives you the chance to meet and exchange ideas, advice and more with many medical providers around the world such as TyTek, and to continue the talks on the advances of the sector. ‎SOMA is the largest gathering of SOF medical providers in the world that includes U.S. ‎military, foreign military, domestic tactical law enforcement and tactical EMS ‎providers.”

"We are excited to be able to meet and talk with many attendees and providers and one of the products we will be exhibiting is our innovative MCI (Mass Casualty Incident) bag" - Chris Tyler, TyTek Group President

Recent medical research has revealed that there is a Platinum ten-minute period after a mass casualty incident. If you can react effectively in this time you will be able to save lives. TyTek developed the PTENSYS (Platinum TEN SYStem) range to meet your emergency preparedness challenges head on, which includes our MCI bag. Categorically, nobody before us in the emergency medical industry has designed a trauma kit that folds out to allow side-by-side working with added extendable floodlights. This unique feature takes care of poor visibility and frees the hands of rescuers while bringing some order to a chaotic situation. We are proud to be exhibiting this product at the event as we know how important it is to provide necessary medical supplies, in the case of an emergency before the first responders attend. As well as this, we’ve developed our range to be user-friendly, so that beginners can access and utilise without fear.

Our products were developed for the battlefield, however with many public disasters happening we saw a desperate need for point-of-injury medical supplies. As large gatherings such as concerts, festivals and the everyday morning commute return to normal, we need to be prepared for any deliberate attack or accidental incident.
