PTENSYS - Trauma Response System

Imagine... a next generation trauma response system that will help you save lives...we did.

Between 2007-2016 there were 112,342 terror attacks resulting in 524,229 casualties (approximately the population of Sheffield or Las Vegas) across the globe* not to mention those left with psychological conditions. TyTek developed PTENSYS to meet these emergency preparedness challenges head on *Source

PTENSYS (Platinum TEN SYStem) is a customised system that help you to act quickly and give life-saving care to your patrons and visitors while you wait for the emergency services to arrive. In addition the cache of supplies are also in situ when the pre-hospital providers arrive before or after a lockdown situation, as we have seen in the Independent Kerslake Report in response to the Manchester Arena attack. Essentially, we offer a custom built risk mitigation strategy.

The idea for PTENSYS came from the work we do in conflict zones. Given the awful situations that we are seeing almost every day, it made sense to tailor it to non-military environments where civilians are experiencing military style injuries.

Ptensys MCI Kit Bag - Tytek Medical

A cache of key medical equipment is stored within our secure technology cabinets. It contains everything required for initial treatment of traumatically injured patients in any form of MCI. It is particularly effective in the platinum ten minutes that have been highlighted in recent medical research as the key time in which you can save lives.

We have developed the essential PTENSYS emergency solution in partnership with the renowned Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati.

The cabinets contain high volumes of the supplies that are usually kept in low numbers on most civilian ambulances to address severe trauma:  haemorrhage, airway compromise, pneumothorax, and hypothermia. This is essential for any pre-planned mass gathering event, where there is potential to outstrip on-site resources and to ensure you have the most appropriate trauma care kit should the unthinkable happen.

Ptensys - Cabinet

TyTek developed the customisable cabinets, equipped with modules of key medical equipment stored in kits that can be used to address the immediate life-threatening trauma injuries.

Many large venues don’t have the necessary medical supplies, or sometimes even the procedures in place to deal with a mass casualty incident. PTENSYS immediately addresses these concerns. Each cabinet stores everything you would need to keep people alive after a MCI.

You can choose an all-round trauma kit, a burns kit and bleed control kits. You can mix and match these depending upon your requirements and our dedicated team carry out a full situation analysis and vulnerability assessment to ensure you have everything you need.

Categorically, nobody before us in the emergency medical industry has designed a trauma kit that folds out to allow side-by-side working with added extendable floodlights. This unique feature takes care of poor visibility and frees the hands of the rescuers while bringing some order to a chaotic situation. Most of the materials within the kit are applicable for basic skill level use.

PTENSYS offers you peace of mind, knowing that should a life-threatening incident occur, everything on-site is designed to ensure the platinum ten minutes in pre-hospital trauma care is used to its optimum. We also arrange on-site and VR training, ongoing support and flexible purchasing/leasing options.

Ultimately PTENSYS is a next generation ‘insurance policy’ that prepares you for virtually every emergency care situation in sports and entertainment venues, transport hubs, hotels, large corporate buildings, malls and schools.

Introducing our unrivalled int:ACT monitoring system.

This optional, customised system offers continuous electronic monitoring of the secure storage unit for emergency medical supplies. The cabinets can be lifted and transported by forklift or trailer to strategic points at your venue/event.

Int:ACT offers seven essential features and benefits:

1. A self-contained module containing all security sensors, communications, GPS cabinet position and power systems.

2. Continuous automatic security monitoring of cabinet status and security by host computer system.

3. Monitoring of latch status, lid position, GPS location and battery condition.

4. Remote control of on-cabinet strobe lights and other devices for location in smoke.

5. Wireless communications connection into your existing secure WiFi networks.

6. Physical location determined via on-board GPS receiver.

7. Local on-cabinet self-test function. In-position verification of cart status including system health status, communications link status, GPS location and battery condition.

The cabinet's strong tamper-proof construction has been designed for frequent transport and rough handling.  They will stay intact to protect trauma kits housed inside them.
