This Privacy Policy describes how the Tytek Group (including Tytek Industries, Inc. and Tytek Medical, Inc. and their affiliates) collects, holds and use personal information for persons who visit or purchase items from our website.

We are committed to personal privacy. This policy explains how we collect information about you and how we use it to meet your needs. No transmission over the Internet or any other network can guaranty cybersecurity, but we promise to protect the security of your personal data as follows.

    Order Information

    • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number).
    • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, process payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen orders for risk of fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you information or advertising about our products and services.

    • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor, currently Shopify. 

    We use Personal Information to offer and provide products and services to you, including offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfilment of orders, and keeping you up to date on products, services and offers.

    Personal Information Sharing

    We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

    • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

    Visitors to our website

    When someone visits the Tytek website, we use an industry standard analytics reporting system, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We use Google Analytics to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify users.  We use Lead Forensics to gather company data and visit information such as pages visited and duration while not identifying individual visitors.

    Cookies

    A cookie is a small amount of information that’s downloaded to your computer or device when you visit our website. We use a number of different cookies, including functional, performance, advertising, and social media or content cookies. Cookies make your browsing experience better by allowing the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login and region selection). This means you don’t have to re-enter this information each time you return to the website or browse from one page to another. Cookies provide information on how people use the website, for instance whether it’s their first time visiting or if they are a frequent visitor.

    Search Engine

    Search queries and results are logged anonymously to help us improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific data is collected by either Tytek or any third party in this way.

    E-newsletter and Email Marketing

    We use a third-party provider, Campaign Monitor, to deliver our e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. Recipients are on an opt-in basis and can Unsubscribe at any time. For more information, please see Campaign Monitor Privacy Policy. You will have received a double-opt-in message from us, so please take time to opt-in if you wish to continue receiving communications from us.

    Where you receive a marketing email, we may collect information about how to determine whether you visited our site and which sections you viewed, in order to make our communications more relevant for you.

    If you do not want us to collect information as to whether you have visited our site from email communications, you should unsubscribe. We will automatically log this information in our records, and your preference will be maintained on a ‘marketing suppression list’.

    Website security and performance

    Tytek uses a third-party service to help maintain website security and performance. This service receives IP addresses of visitors.

    People who contact us via social media

    If you send us a private or direct message via social media, the message will be stored by the social media provide. We will not share share it with other organizations. Please refer to social media organizations’ Privacy and Cookie Policy for information about how they use your data.

    If you email us

    We use Secure Sockets Layer Security (SSL) to encrypt and protect email traffic. If your email service does not support SSL, any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit.

    We monitor emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. You are responsible for ensuring that any email you send is proper and legal.

    What will we do with Personal Information you provide to us?
